Assemblywoman Solages and the Franklin Square Historical Society organized the Declaration of Independence reading at Rath Park on July 2nd. Special thank you to Riley Dietz, a 6th grader from John Street School, for starting the event with the National Anthem. Also, Declan Brosnan, a 5th grader from Washington Street School, did a great job reading a part of the Declaration, representing the Boy Scouts. Congrats to both of our amazing students. Happy 4th of July! #WeAreFranklinSquare

Fifth and sixth grade students from our school district were granted a wonderful opportunity to display their exceptional artwork at the Franklin Square Museum! The event, organized in collaboration with the Franklin Square Historical Society and our wonderful art teachers, was a resounding success. The students' masterpieces were thoughtfully showcased on display boards throughout the museum. The event was held for parents and friends, providing them with a chance to appreciate the remarkable talent of our young artists. #WeAreFranklinSquare

What a spectacular evening for our incredible sixth graders across the district! 🌟 Each of our schools celebrated with their unique flair, embracing the power of fun, friendship, and community.
John Street School journeyed into the heart of the jungle with their theme, filled with real palm trees and life-size animals. 🌿
At Washington Street School, it was all about the whimsy and excitement of a bustling carnival, complete with fun games! 🎪
And Polk Street School's radiant glow party featured students dancing with fun glow accessories, plenty of photo opportunities, and lots of great food!💡
It was a joy to see our students creating memories they will cherish forever. Congrats to our three PTA's and volunteers for making this night one to remember. We can't wait to see what adventures next year will bring! #WeAreFranklinSquare
