John Street School students in grades K-6 were treated to an unforgettable experience when nationally acclaimed comic-magician Brian Richards brought his signature “The bGreat Show” to their gymnasium on April 23.
Through a mix of comedy, magic, storytelling and audience participation, the show teaches students about the important qualities of trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, fairness, respect and citizenship. Two assemblies were held for students in grades 4-6, and then K-3. “The bGreat Show” was a PTA Cultural Arts Assembly.

John Street School kindergarteners commemorated the 50th day of school with a 1950s-themed celebration. They enjoyed “Let the Good Times Roll” coloring crafts, “Rockin’ to the 50th Day” number tracing activity, and tunes from the 1950s as they hula-hooped.
