Approximately 520 Franklin Square students made the most of their summer by participating in the district’s annual Summer Recreation Programs, where every day is filled with opportunities to stay active, explore new interests and spend time with friends.

Held Mondays through Thursdays from July 6-30, the programs are open to all district students entering kindergarten through those who recently completed sixth grade. Throughout the month, students enjoy a mix of outdoor games, gym activities, arts and crafts, field trips and special events that keep each day fresh and engaging. Twice a week, sprinkler days provide a refreshing break from the summer heat and give students another reason to look forward to the fun.
