Director of Pupil Personnel Services Dr. Pamela Taylor was honored for her exceptional service at SCOPE’s 25th annual School District Awards Dinner on March 23.

Dr. Taylor received the Administrator Service Award in recognition of her dedication, innovation and unwavering commitment to a student-centered approach. Since being appointed Director of PPS in 2012, she has been a steadfast advocate for all students, especially those with disabilities. Dr. Taylor’s vision and leadership led to the creation of Long Island’s first elementary-level Daily Living Skills Room at John Street School, a groundbreaking initiative she guided from concept to completion. Her ongoing commitment to enhancing programs, supporting staff and expanding opportunities for students has had a lasting and meaningful impact on the district.
